Costume Construction
Magic Makers for Encore! Performing Arts production of Disney's Frozen
I collaborated with the costume designer, Wesley Schaefer, to bring two of his Magic Makers designs, Snowflake and Crystal, to life. I was responsible for stitching both costumes based on a provided pattern, making alterations to fit the design. Additionally, I drafted the snowflake appliqué pattern. Attended performer fittings and altered the crystal costume to fit the performer. I did not construct the mesh jumpsuits beneath the costumes.
Avant-Garde Costume Construction
I assisted in Avant-Garde costume construction with Ringling Professor and Costume Designer Matt Myers. I was responsible for assisting with fabric shopping, cutting pattern pieces, assembling the Crown and Wand, making minor alterations to the suit jacket, and assisting with the construction of the overskirt. I also served as wardrobe assistant during the show.
